There is a lot going on at Thornhill Church over the next couple of weeks as we look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus our Saviour!

On Sunday 18th December, at 11am, the children from Junior Church and No Limits will be dressing up in their costumes and reminding us of the Christmas story in their nativity play.

Then, at 6pm on the 18th, the very popular Carols by Candlelight service will take place. Make sure that you arrive early to be sure of a good seat!

On Tuesday 20th December, at 1:45pm, there will be Carols in the Coffee Shop.

Christmas Eve, at 3pm, is a very special service for pre-school children and their families, as Tots 'n' Toys and Lighthouse Nursery remind us of the very first Christmas.

And, on Christmas Day at 10:30am, we join together to celebrate Jesus' birth, with a fun, family service.

In his letter to Titus, Paul gives some really clear and valuable advice on how to lead and look after his local church. Whether we're leaders of a church, a team, a family, or just looking for advice on how to lead a good life, there's plenty of things that God can teach us through this letter.

So, as the Autumn term begins at Thornhill Church, we’ll be reading through Paul's letter to Titus during our Sunday morning services. We’ve given the series the title ‘Truth that leads somewhere...’

The service starts at 11am, and you're warmly invited to join us whichever Sunday you can make it. During the service there is a crèche available for small children, and we also run "Junior Church" and "No Limits" for children up to the age of 14.

The Thornhill Church Fun Day 2011 takes place on Saturday 16th July, from 1pm - 5pm at the Thornhill Church Centre.

There will be craft stalls, games, bouncy castles, face painting - and a guaranteed sunny day (hopefully!)
