Join us (virtually!) as we celebrate Easter 2020 here in Thornhill. Although we’re not able to meet together in person, we’ll be joining in worship, prayer and celebration across the Internet as we remind ourselves of the incredible events that happened 2,000 years ago – the Good News that gives us hope even in these uncertain and difficult times.

Our Easter series this year follows the events of the “Long Weekend”, from the Thursday supper that Jesus enjoyed with his followers, through the mock trial and crucifixion on the cross, the wonderful discovery that Jesus’ tomb was empty, and ending with the ‘what now?’ questions as the news began to sink in that “Jesus is alive!”

  • Sunday 29th March – “That Thursday Supper”
  • Sunday 5th April – “How is this Friday Good?”
  • Friday 10th April – “No Saturday / Sabbath Rest”
  • Sunday 12th April – Easter Sunday – “History Spitting Sunday”
  • Sunday 19th April – “Monday Morning, What Now?”

Happy Easter from everyone at Thornhill Church. We’re praying regularly for our local community that God would give us all peace, comfort and safety during this time.
