We would love to invite all school children in years 1-6 to our ‘Light Party’ on Tuesday 31st October.
Halloween is fast becoming a key date in the calendar, with increasing numbers of children getting dressed up, knocking on doors and asking ‘trick or treat?’! But if you’re not keen on your children doing this then there is another option! Rather than discourage them from having fun with their friends and going out to meet their local community, why not bring them along to our Light Party?
The party is at Thornhill Church Centre on Tuesday 31st October 5.30-7.30pm. Together we will celebrate light, rather than darkness, this Halloween. There will be lots of games, a glow-stick disco, activities and more for primary aged children in our community – you can even come dressed up if you’d like!
Dress Code: Bright and shiny!
This is a free event but places are limited. There is no need to book but if you are able to confirm if you will be attending via the email address below, that would help us in our planning.
PLEASE NOTE: Parents are required to stay for children in years 1 and 2 and are welcome to stay for years 3 and above. Tea, Coffee and Cake will be provided for the grown-ups! Thornhill Church operates a Safe Guarding policy and all childrens’ workers have full DBS checks in place.
Please see our Light Party poster for more information or contact Thornhill Church at email@example.com or on (029) 2075 9995. You can also find more information on our Facebook page /thornhillchurch or on Twitter @thornhillchurch.
We hope to see you then!
