TAVS Project Community Fund

TAVS Project Community Fund
Every second and fourth Monday of the month, a group from Thornhill Church provide a meal for the homeless and vulnerable at Tavistock Hostel.  Also, there has been an increasing number of activities during the week including a cooking class, choir, night shelter, and a clothes store.
Tavs have submitted a bid for a £10,000 Aviva community grant to spend on a new cooker, an additional toilet, and other resources to improve the facilities.  In addition, the money would also fund someone to coordinate the increasing number of activities at TAVS.

The next stage of the bid is to get as many people as possible to vote during the month of May 2015.  The projects with the highest number of votes will then go before a judging panel to decide which bids are successful.
For more information on Tavs and how to vote please click here.  You need to register with your name and email address.  Aviva will send you a confirmation email and you will have 10 votes in total.  Thank you for your support of Tavs Centre.
