Our prayer, purpose and passion is for everyone to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

As a church we meet every Sunday 10:30am in our building, and in the week we have 12 home groups. We’ve served the community in various ways since the early 1980’s when Thornhill became an area, and currently run a full time nursery, community cafe, and much more. Have a look around this website, subscribe to our YouTube channel, follow us on Facebook / Instagram, or come on Sunday or in the week.

This Sunday, we'll be reading the Bible story of a woman condemned by the authorities and sentenced to be stoned.
In the narrative, Jesus sets the exceptional example of choosing grace over condemnation. The only one qualified to throw a stone, didn't.
Come on in & catch the full story with our Pastor, Math.

By the end of this month, we will have used up all the natural resource that the planet can regenerate this year, that means for the next 5 months, everything that we buy, everything that we consume, everything that we use is unsustainable.
If we are to reduce this unsustainable time period, let's be mindful of how much we consume and of the damage that our consumerism often causes. We know that if we shop well, if we buy fewer, better quality items, they will last longer. We don't always need that 'latest thing'.
Just one example: globally, we throw away nearly 5.3 billion mobile phones every year. That's 5.5 million people making one tiny decision. Each person's decision builds into a huge problem.
Probably the best antidote to consumerism is GRATITUDE, because consumerism thrives on dissatisfaction. So let's practice the discipline of gratitude, being thankful for what we have. That's something the Bible says is God's will for us!
